This notice explains what personal data Irishvar Technologies Pvt Ltd (“Irishvar”, “we”, “us”) collects when you use irishvar.com, why we collect it, how we use it, and what rights you have over it. Plain English, no dark patterns.

We are not a consumer business. The personal data we hold is mostly prospect and customer contact information from people who reach out about an engagement. If that's you, this page covers you.

1. Who we are

Irishvar Technologies Pvt Ltd, registered office [registered address — TBC]. Company registration number [CIN/registration — TBC]. The data controller for the purpose of this notice is Irishvar.

For privacy questions, write to hello@irishvar.com. We aim to reply within one business day.

2. What we collect

We collect the following categories of data:

  • Contact data you give us. Name, email, company, country, website, message, preferred contact method — captured when you submit the form on /contact or email us directly.
  • Engagement data. If we work together, we keep contracts, invoices, project artefacts, and the email/chat record of our work. This is standard business correspondence and recordkeeping.
  • Site analytics. Aggregate, privacy-first metrics from Plausible Analytics — page views, referrer, country (derived from IP but not stored), browser. No cookies, no cross-site tracking, no personal identifiers.
  • Server logs. Standard request logs (IP, user agent, path, timestamp) retained briefly for security and abuse detection.

We do not collect special-category data, payment-card data (we use a third-party processor for invoicing if relevant), or location data beyond country-level.

3. Why we use it

  • To respond to you when you reach out, and to schedule a discovery call.
  • To deliver the engagement we've agreed (if you become a client).
  • To meet our tax, accounting, and contractual obligations.
  • To keep the site secure and to understand which content is useful to founders. We do not run targeted advertising.

4. Legal bases

Where applicable law (e.g. GDPR) requires it, our legal bases are:

  • Consent— when you submit the form, you consent to us contacting you about the request you've made.
  • Contract— to deliver an engagement we've agreed.
  • Legitimate interests — to operate the site, prevent abuse, and keep records of business correspondence. These interests are balanced against your rights and freedoms; you can object at any time.
  • Legal obligation — for tax, accounting, and statutory recordkeeping.

5. Who we share it with

We share personal data only with the following kinds of recipient:

  • Service providers who process data on our behalf under written agreements: cloud hosting, email delivery, analytics, calendar/scheduling, accounting. We use providers with industry- standard security practices.
  • Professional advisers — accountants, auditors, lawyers — when needed and only to the extent needed.
  • Authorities when required by law, after reasonable verification of the request.

We do not sell personal data. We do not share it for advertising.

6. International transfers

Our service providers are typically located across multiple jurisdictions. Where we transfer personal data outside your country, we rely on appropriate safeguards required by the law that applies to you — for example, standard contractual clauses for transfers from the EEA, or the equivalent mechanism under your local law. If you want details of the specific safeguards in place for a particular transfer, write to hello@irishvar.com.

7. How long we keep it

  • Form submissions and prospect emails: retained for 24 months from last contact, then deleted, unless you become a client.
  • Client engagement records: retained for the period required by tax and accounting law in the jurisdictions where we operate (typically 6 to 8 years from the end of the engagement).
  • Server logs: retained for 30 days then rotated out.

8. Your rights

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to our processing of your data, and to receive your data in a portable form. To exercise any of these rights, write to hello@irishvar.com. We'll respond within one month and we won't charge you to exercise these rights.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to your local data-protection authority. We'd rather you told us first so we can fix it.

9. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data: encrypted transport (TLS), encrypted storage where practical, multi-factor authentication on admin accounts, minimum- access principles, audit logs, and a written incident-response procedure. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach materially affects you, we'll tell you within the timeframe required by law.

10. Cookies and tracking

We use Plausible Analytics, which sets no cookies and stores no personal identifiers. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies. See our cookies notice for the complete list of what runs on the site.

We update this notice when our practices change. The “last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent change. For material changes that affect you (e.g. new processing purposes), we will tell you directly where we have your contact details.
